Investigations have revealed that the Common Science query paper of sophistication 10 state board examination in Assam had been bought for as much as Rs 3,000 on WhatsApp, Director-Common of Police Gyanendra Pratap Singh stated on Thursday.
Chatting with reporters, Singh stated WhatsApp’s help was being sought to establish the origin of the leak of the query paper.
“The investigation has revealed that the query paper of the Common Science examination had been bought for something between Rs 100 and Rs 3,000. We’ve got discovered that someplace it was bought for Rs 100, someplace for Rs 200-300, and it went as much as Rs 3,000. Help is being sought from WhatsApp to establish the origin of the leak,” he stated.
“I’m proud of the investigation and the progress we made over the past three days. Hopefully, we’ll crack this case quickly. We’ll ship some extra packets of the query paper from higher Assam to the CID headquarters for the aim of the investigation,” he added.
The Common Science query paper of the category 10 matriculation examination carried out by the Board of Secondary Schooling, Assam (SEBA) was leaked on Sunday evening, and the examination scheduled on Monday was cancelled.
