There is this myth out there… we don’t know if you’ve heard of it, but some people say that cats are… unfeeling. They say that cats don’t care about anyone but themselves, that they only tolerate other animals, that they would never choose company unless they had to have it. But we… as cat people, we know better. We know that while it’s true that some cats will take a while to warm up to you, eventually, once you’re chosen, these cats will love you until the end of time.
And that’s true not just for humans. A cat’s love can extend far and wide. We have seen cats adopt kittens from other litters and raise them as their own. We have seen cats adopt puppies into their litters, regardless of how different they might be. We have even seen a momma cat adopt a lynx cub and raise it alongside her kitten. It’s just a question of choice, and the choice made by the cat in this video is one of the cutest we have seen.
