For hundreds of years, cats have entertained our hooman lives with their existence. As we all know, felines have a certain hold on the hearts of Men and according to classical art through the centuries, they’ve always used that gravitational force for their own gain, just as they do now.
I suppose nothing’s really changed for these kitties…
The cats of yore slept in the window sill, they stole tuna from the countertop, and they fell asleep in their favorite hoomans lap. If we’re lucky, hoomanity will still be around in another century or two, bowing at the feet of our favorite furry companions. In the meantime, enjoy this blast from the past, where cats make their way into our art, culture, and the very fabric of our lives (as usual).
