Greetings, dear companions! The ‘not my cat’ phenomenon is ever growing in popularity, luckily for us. It manifests in various forms—a distinctively feline presence, unmistakably not belonging to you, making itself at home in your domain. Residing in a bustling city teeming with stray feline inhabitants, I frequently find myself ensnared in numerous ‘not my cat’ encounters. Regrettably, not all of these wandering felines can transition from being mere passersby to becoming cherished companions. Nevertheless, I lavish them with treats and affection. Why? Because they deserve it, duh.
Let’s be honest, as humans, we are mere mortals in the majestic realm of cats. We simply appreciate that they choose to present themselves to us at the randomest of times and in the randomest of places. And that is what we will continue to do, my cat or not.
