The organizers of Coachella have announced a new stage, Quasar, debuting in 2024.
After a year teeming with unforgettable EDM moments, Goldenvoice today revealed the stage, which will feature extended, three-hour DJ sets across both of the festival’s weekends: April 12-14 and April 19-21.
Quasar, which will feature “two monolithic LED walls,” will take the spot of Coachella’s Sahara stage next-door to the Eldorado Polo Club. Check out a preview of the new stage below.

The reveal of Quasar follows changes to the fabled Sahara, which will undergo a significant expansion in size, location and construction. The structure is growing in size and setting up shop between Avenue 51 and Polo Road.
Attendees of Quasar during Weekend One can take in sets from Honey Dijon b2b Green Velvet, Jamie xx b2b Floating Points b2b Daphni as well as a momentous performance by influential DJ and house music producer Michel Bibi, who recently beat a rare form of cancer. The following weekend will feature RÜFÜS DU SOL, Eric Prydz b2b Anyma and Diplo b2b Mau P.
Coachella’s 2024 lineup features Gesaffelstein, Justice, Anyma, Charlotte de Witte, John Summit, Steve Angello, DJ Snake, Dom Dolla and the EDM.com Class duo of ISOxo and Knock2, among many others.
Passes to Weekend One are sold out, but still available for Weekend Two. You can purchase tickets and find out more information here.
