Saint Leo College Publicizes Main Cuts

Saint Leo College introduced a collection of cuts Thursday “to enhance efficiencies and improve its future choices for college kids.”

Among the many cuts:

• The college, which is predicated in Florida, will not provide programs in Charleston, S.C.; Joint Base Charleston–Naval Weapons Station, S.C.; Columbus, Miss.; Corpus Christi, Tex.; and Jacksonville, Lake Metropolis, Ocala and Mayport, Fla. College students at present taking courses at these facilities will be capable to transfer to the college’s on-line program to proceed their coursework.
• Six of its 23 NCAA Division II sports activities groups shall be eradicated. The college didn’t title the sports activities.
• The college will discontinue three diploma packages.

A complete of 111 college and employees positions had been eradicated, of which 27 % had been just lately vacant.
